When you celebrate someone with TributeWall, your contributors trust you with their photos, videos, and heartfelt words. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who We Are
TributeWall ("TributeWall," "we," "us," or "our") is a celebration and tribute platform operated by BillCore, LLC, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. This policy applies to tributewall.com and the services we provide through it.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — when you create a tribute wall, we collect your name, email address, and password.
- Wall content — the photos, videos, audio messages, written messages, names, and occasion details you and your contributors add to a wall.
- Payment information — when you purchase a plan or the Photo Mosaic add-on, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Communications — messages you send us by email or through our contact options.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — basic information about how you interact with the site, such as pages visited and actions taken.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, and similar technical details.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create, host, and maintain your tribute wall and gallery.
- Generate QR codes, process uploads, and power features like the live slideshow and Photo Mosaic.
- Process payments and manage your plan and any add-ons.
- Send you service-related emails, such as confirmations, upload notifications, and reminders.
- Respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
- Improve the security, reliability, and features of our service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Your Wall Privacy Controls
Your tribute wall can be kept private with an optional password, so only people you share it with can enter and contribute. As the wall owner, you can delete any post, photo, or comment, pin posts, and manage what appears on your wall. Contributors can add photos, videos, audio, and messages using just their name — no account required.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted vendors who help us operate the platform, such as hosting, cloud storage, payment processing, and email delivery, who are bound to protect your information.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Data Retention
We keep your wall content for as long as your wall is active. During a free trial, your wall stays active for collecting memories. With a paid plan, your wall remains online — and with the lifetime plan, it stays online permanently — so the honoree can revisit it for years. You may download your content or request deletion at any time.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@tributewall.com. You can also manage much of your content and account directly from your dashboard.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure cloud storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your memories and continually improve our protections.
9. Children's Privacy
TributeWall accounts must be created and managed by an adult. Some celebrations — such as graduations or baby celebrations — may involve photos of minors. The account holder is responsible for having the right to share any content uploaded to their wall, including images that contain minors. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe content involving a minor has been shared without appropriate consent, contact us at info@tributewall.com.
10. International Visitors
TributeWall is operated from the United States. By using our service, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your own.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate.
